Why PÅNY
exists.
My name is Rafal Liebrecht.
For many years, my world was measured in scale.
Large commercial buildings.
Warehouses.
Retail developments.
Residential projects.
I learned how to build.
I learned how to lead.
I learned how to turn ideas into reality.
I.
What stayed with me.
But over time I realised something important.
The projects that stayed with me were never the biggest ones.
They were the ones that changed the way people lived.
II.
Moving to Denmark.
When I moved to Denmark, my perspective began to change.
I discovered Scandinavian architecture.
Its simplicity.
Its honesty.
Its connection to nature.
Its focus on everyday life.
For the first time, I felt connected to architecture not because of its scale, but because of its meaning.

III.
Discovering the garden.
I became fascinated by gardens.
Not as decoration.
But as living spaces.
Places where architecture, nature and everyday life meet.

- —A sheltered place for a car.
- —A place for family and friends to gather.
These spaces may be smaller than the projects I once built. But they often have a much greater impact on everyday life.

The foundation of PÅNY.
That realization changed the way I think about design. And eventually it became the foundation of PÅNY.
For me, PÅNY represents a new beginning.
A new chapter.
A new perspective.
A new way of living.
A new relationship between people, architecture and nature.
It represents the decision to move away from building for scale and move towards creating spaces with meaning.

A different path.
Today I no longer chase the biggest projects.
I pursue the most meaningful ones.
Projects where there is time to listen.
Time to understand the property.
Time to understand the people.
Time to create something unique.
PÅNY is not about mass production. It is not about selling products.
It is about creating places that feel natural.
Places that age beautifully.
Places that improve everyday life.
